A venue for tranquil encounters with art

With the exhibition SILENCE the ESSL MUSEUM is concentrating on the presentation of just two works of art in the 600 sq.m. exhibition area of the main hall. Alone or in pairs, visitors have the chance to engage with the two works exclusively for an hour. Thus the viewing is to be given time and space, and a distancing from everyday life becomes possible. Intentionally this exhibition offers to expose oneself to a situation of slowing down and to enter into an inner dialogue and gain new experience.
